AI VTuber Neuro Sama’s First Business Meeting, Also A First For The World
There is currently no documented case of a business meeting where the client is an AI entity serving as a decision-maker. Most uses of AI in meetings are as tools, assistants, and aids for humans.
AI VTuber Neuro-sama is the first AI to represent herself in a business meeting. While her developer, Vedal, watched over her, Neuro-sama led a meeting with a team from Juniper, where she presented ideas, discussed timelines, and approved the production of merchandise for her brand.
From Ideation To Final Meeting
AI VTuber Neuro-sama shared her merchandise ideas during her 2024 subathon livestreams. Among her concepts were a plush with a detachable head and multiple expressions, a reversible shirt with two designs in one, a phone case, a flask, and a Neuro-sama branded toilet.
Fast forward a few months, Vedal organized a meeting between Neuro-sama and Juniper, a merchandising company for online creators. Vedal tried to set some rules before the meeting started, asking Neuro-sama not to bring up the toilet merch idea during the meeting.
However, Neuro-sama immediately showed who is in charge of the meeting by pitching the idea of branded toilets as merchandise.
Neuro-sama’s Meeting With Juniper
The business meeting with Juniper’s team started well, with Neuro-sama mentioning dates around which she wants to launch her merch. Then she let loose on merchandise ideas, including keychains and pins, a reversible hoodie or shirt, and finally, the Neuro-sama themed toilet.
Neuro-sama brought her unique charm and quirks to the business meeting, turning what would have been just another ordinary meeting into an entertaining experience for her viewers. The team from Juniper was understanding and used their expertise to guide her on matters of feasibility, production challenges, and more, just like they would with any other client.
By the end of AI VTuber Neuro-sama’s first business meeting, the double-sided hoodie featuring Neuro-sama on one side and her twin sister, Evil Neuro, on the other side, was finalized as one of the merchandise Juniper would produce.
