Our Origin

There are several different platforms for AI roleplay, each with its own community, subreddit, and Discord server. Rules often prohibit discussing other platforms, and helpful resources are spread across various communities with limited accessibility. Staying informed about the scene also requires monitoring multiple outlets.

There are also several websites covering AI roleplay platforms, but their content is either AI-generated or written with superficial subject knowledge. There’s a lack of content created by people who actively participate in the hobby.

Those are the pain points that sparked the idea for RPWithAI. A unified hub that covers everything related to AI roleplay, with content written by people who are passionate about this hobby. RPWithAI will always remain an independent and reliable publisher whose content will be accessible for free, without intrusive and annoying ads.

Wayfarer, a former journalist from India, founded RPWithAI in July 2025, with the goal of creating value for the AI roleplay scene by leveraging his professional experience.

Wayfarer

Wayfarer is the founder and editor of RPWithAI. He’s a former journalist who became interested in AI in 2023 and quickly developed a passion for AI roleplay. He enjoys medieval and fantasy settings, and his roleplays often involve politics, power struggles, and magic.

Geechan

Geechan is a contributing author at RPWithAI. He has been part of the AI roleplay scene since the early days of Character AI. Geechan enjoys creating canonical character cards from his favorite series, along with general roleplay prompts, model-specific presets, and beginner-friendly guides.
