Hot on the heels of the platform announcing that developers are prioritizing UI and Quality of Life updates, JanitorAI introduces Scripts and Advanced Generation Settings. The platform now also has a logo that consistently represents its brand across all forms of media, from web to print, and is flexible enough to work in any color scheme.
JanitorAI Scripts
Scripts were previously only available to a select few creators during the initial testing phase, but JanitorAI Scripts is now available to all users. The feature is in its beta stage, and the developers encourage users to try it out and provide feedback to help improve Scripts.

JanitorAI Scripts let you create Lorebooks or use JavaScript code to dynamically inject prompts based on your set rules and conditions. Lorebooks help optimize your context cache, while custom JavaScript code enhances your roleplays, making them more interactive and engaging.

Using custom JavaScript code, you can add time-based events, track relationship progress, create engines to help the LLM better understand human emotions and preferences, and more. For example, if you’re frustrated with the LLM quickly trusting your character in your roleplay, a script that manages relationship progression dynamically can help make your roleplay feel more natural.

Scripts is like giving your character a smart assistant that whispers helpful information in their ear during conversations. Instead of your character always being exactly the same, Scripts help them react naturally to what’s happening in your chat.

JanitorAI Scripts Is In Beta
The feature is currently in beta, and documentation is limited, as many aspects are subject to change, and the UI will change over time. Shep encouraged users to try out the feature and share their feedback. Those who want a polished tool will need to wait a few weeks before using JanitorAI Scripts.
this is a true beta – were releasing it early so creators can start experimenting and help shape what this becomes. if youre comfortable diving into early features, jump in. if you prefer more polished tools, check back in a few weeks as we iterate.
Shep, Scripts beta is here.
Advanced Generation Settings
When you roleplay with AI, you’re interacting with a Large Language Model (LLM) that converts your input into tokens, analyzes the context, and predicts the next token one at a time. It doesn’t communicate like a human; it follows patterns learned from training to generate the most probable response.

JanitorAI has introduced Advanced Generation Settings to give you control over how the LLM makes predictions when generating tokens. You can also ban up to 10 words and phrases to prevent the LLM from becoming repetitive or overusing specific phrases.
JanitorAI’s New Logo
JanitorAI also has a new logo, moving away from the Shiba Inu mascot it previously used as its symbol. The new logo consistently represents the brand across all forms of media, from web to print, and is flexible enough to work in any color scheme.

The new logo retains elements from the Shiba Inu mascot, like the dog ears and tail, and the swirls are open to your interpretation. Are they the swirls of a janitor’s mopping bucket? Or the rabbit hole you fall into once you get hooked on AI roleplay? It’s all up to your imagination.
JanitorAI Is Catching Up
JanitorAI Scripts and the Advanced Generation Settings aren’t groundbreaking features. They have been available on other frontends for some time, giving users more control over their experience and making roleplay more engaging and dynamic.
However, the inclusion of these features and the visible updates to the frontend suggest that the developers are finally picking up pace and catching up with features that other frontends provide.
With JLLM 2 on the way, the developers’ goal to keep it free for all users, and much-needed improvements to the frontend, JanitorAI is solidifying its position as the leading unfiltered online AI roleplay platform.
