WyvernChat Studio Editor is a visual editor for creators, where they can create WyvernScripts and commands and test them in real time. The Studio Editor empowers creators to make their characters more immersive and engaging, and it just got better.
The developers have also improved WyvernChat’s UI, making it easier for users to access character details and AI Connections.
WyvernChat Studio Editor’s AI Assistant
Nev announced through a dev note on October 12, 2025, that creators can now use an AI assistant in WyvernChat Studio Editor.

The AI assistant is a new feature that can assist creators with a limited set of tasks. It can help them in writing character descriptions and personalities, as well as assist with creating WyvernScripts.

The developers plan to improve the assistant over time and allow users to do much more with it. According to Nev, WyvernChat will provide free users access to a high-context model to use the WyvernChat Studio Editor’s AI Assistant.
We will be providing free users access to a high-context model to utilize the assistant in the future: currently it requires a minimum of 50k context to use with full documentation.

Lorebooks With Galleries And NPC Entries
Lorebooks on WyvernChat now support galleries, and creators can upload images related to their entries, such as locations and NPCs. Lexicon entries now include a special “NPC” entry type, making it easier for creators to add NPCs to their lorebooks.

Background Removal Tool
Creators can now easily remove backgrounds from images they upload to WyvernChat. Whether it’s your character’s avatar, a gallery image, or a sprite, you can use the background removal tool to improve the visual presentation of your character card.

WyvernChat continues to empower creators with powerful tools to create immersive and engaging characters. The developers are also making these tools more accessible through the new AI assistant.
UI Improvements
The developers have also improved several aspects of WyvernChat’s UI. The new character card modals make it easier for users to view character details while browsing the platform’s character library.

Users can now access AI Connections from any page to manage their Providers and Connections settings. The developers stated that this UI change also improves the performance of AI Connections settings on all devices.

WyvernChat now also allows users to further customize their chat UI, and the developers have added a new chat theme inspired by SillyTavern’s Moonlit Echos Theme Extension by RivelleDays.

DeepSeek’s Official API Added As A Provider
The developers have integrated DeepSeek’s Official API as a provider on WyvernChat. Previously, if users wanted to access DeepSeek through its official API, they had to go through a lengthy process of setting up a new provider. Now, users just need to add their API key and create a Connection to use DeepSeek on WyvernChat.
WyvernChat’s Continuous Development
WyvernChat is already an excellent online platform for AI roleplay, and Nev and his team keep improving it every day. The UI is intuitive and continues to get better with each update. The developers are also enhancing the creator workflow and making powerful tools more accessible through the WyvernChat Studio Editor’s AI Assistant.
